Hi Friends,
This week we have a terrific show, which we lead-off with the 'Facho Blues Band', featuring Steve Sherry on guitar, and the very cool European flair that Facho brings to the stage.
Then we have several tunes from our Featured Artist for the week, 'Byron and Shelly'.
I have included 8 tunes from this wonderful Duo, with an informative Interview included to close-out their set.
And we close-out our Podcast this week with a set from 'Joshua', a young fellow visiting from Texas who brought the house down!
We hope you enjoy the show, and you're invited to join the fun, every Thursday at Sellwood Public House in Portland, Oregon!http://www.box.net/shared/00gzhjccgkanqgo4g74r

Sellwood Public House/TwoRivers Music Open Mic, 09 June, 2011
Hi Friends,
This weeks episode of our Podcast has just three performers, but the tunes are terrific.
We have 7 songs from Bluesman 'Madman Sam', and an interview with Madman Sam, and interviews with Sam are very few...
We open this week with TwoRivers Music performing 3 tunes, then we have a new-comer to Sellwood Public House, Wayne Carlson for 4 tunes, and we finish with Madman Sam!
All together there's about 50 minutes of music, ENJOY!
And, come to Sellwood Public House in Portland, Oregon any Thursday evening, and join the fun!

Sellwood Public House/TwoRivers Music Open Mic, 02 June, 2011
Hi Friends,
We have an amazing edition of the TwoRivers Music/Sellwood Public House Podcast this week, with a couple of 'first-time' guests to the Pub, and several tunes from the incredible Joe New, who was our Feature Artist for the week.
Let's get going...
We open this week with TwoRivers Music performing one of Deanna Tworivers' great tunes, then we go to Sellwood Public House newcomer Daniel Novak, who brings two songs for your enjoyment, complete with a bit of back-story.
We go then to Europe for a few songs, compliments of retired surgeon Bolik Brandt, in his first time at Sellwood, and he made a very respectful 'Listening Room' out of Sellwood Public House for his set, two songs of which we bring you here...
Then we have a terrific tune from Tom Sharf, a talented fellow who often hosts Open Mics himself, so keep watch in the listings for his next Open Mic opportunity.
And that brings us to our Feature artist this week; the incredible wordsmith Joe New! Joe has an incredible history in Songwriting, with his songs recorded by Emmylou Harris, Joe Ely, Asleep at The Wheel, and much much more! We bring you six songs from Joe New, along with an interview I conducted onstage with Joe after his set.
He shares some great insights and offers some helpful words for you songwriters working your way up the ladder.
Closing-out our show for this week is a great set from a wonderful Songwriter, and a 'mover-and-shaker' in the Folk Music scene in the Northwest; Susan Lundy!
It's always a real pleasure to see and hear Susan, and she brought a Brand-New song!
I hope you'll enjoy this week's Podcast, and that you'll join us in person, every Thursday evening at Portland Oregon's Sellwood Public House!http://www.box.net/shared/x2ljgxpk2e

Sellwood Public House/TwoRivers Music Open Mic, 19 May, 2011
Hi Friends,
This week's edition of our Sellwood Public House Podcast is a bit late getting online, and I apologize for that, I had a few computer problems that are worked-out now, so we're back up and running!
We have, for your listening enjoyment this week, an assortment of high-quality music that covers several genres, and we hope you enjoy every one.
We open the show with 'Jason and Matt', a couple of fellows who 'live in the neighborhood', and are improving each week. We're happy to have them contributing their time and talents, maybe next week we'll get their last names too...
Next we have the guitar and vocal of Tom Sharf, a frequect contributor to our Open Mics, and a talented performer. Tom leads us into...
Our Featured Artist for the week; David Fagerquist! David is a great performer, and with the addition of his lovely daughter Amber brings us a couple terrific tunes.
Closing-out this weeks edition is the amazing fretboard work of Darren CdeBaca, a 'Wizard' in hammer-on/pull-off technique for guitar, and the sounds he gets from his Breedlove guitar are amazing!
We hope you'll join us, each Thursday evening at the Sellwood Public House in Portland Oregon, as we promote and enjoy Acoustic Music in all it's flavors!
Enjoy!
